Annual Holiday Appeal
Every day, especially during the holiday season, residents of the FASNY Firefighter’s Home appreciate support from their brothers and sisters in the fire service. What sets the Home apart from similar facilities is the compassionate care that fosters dignity and pride in the retired firefighters, their spouses and auxiliary members who reside there. While each resident has his or her own life story, they all have something in common — having once answered the call to volunteer.

Enhancements to the Multi-Purpose Building
Donations will go directly toward improving the Multi-Purpose Building to better serve as a space for meetings, gatherings, and special events.
Renovations to the Activity Room
Donations will support the renovation of the Firefighter Home’s 3rd floor former nursing station to create a recreation room for the residents’ enjoyment.
New Holiday Decorations
Donations will help purchase Christmas decorations to transform the home into a festive and joyful sapce. Every contribution, big or small, helps bring the magic of Christmas into our home.
Operation Small Change
Donations assist in meeting the daily needs of Home residents and create a more comfortable living environment. This includes supplies for activities, outings, parties and special holiday events that help our members feel at “home away from home.”

*Executive Law 174-b: Upon request, a person may obtain from the Firefighters Association of the State of New York Foundation, Inc. (“FOUNDATION”), 107 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12210, or from the Attorney General Charities Bureau, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271, a copy of the last financial report filed by the “FOUNDATION” with the Attorney General, which report will be filed on or before February 15, 2004. Upon request, a person may obtain from the “FOUNDATION” a description of the programs and activities for which the “FOUNDATION” has requested and has expended or will expend contributions.
